JACOB TITUS was born in Akron, Ohio in 1992 and raised in South Bend, Indiana. He is a photographer, designer, and documentarian. After earning an undergraduate degree from Indiana University, he returned home to help turn a bowling alley into a community center. It was upon this return that Jacob started making photographs as a way of documenting life and stumbling toward a sense of purpose in his hometown. This penchant for observation merged with a library of bygone industrial references, and an interest in what's coming next, makes up Jacob's creative practice today.
Hear more of Jacob's story in a 2021 interview with Strong Towns, and read some of his thoughts on South Bend in 2020 articles from The New York Times and L.A. Times.
Jacob is the co-owner of Vested Interest and a member of The South Bend Museum of Art Board of Trustees.
